John Binet is a young poet/playwright following the purest essence of the Nuyorican tradition. Upset with the current state of "spoken word " poetry, this poet represents the pure breeds of bards that just want to be heard and not exalted into some imaginary realm of versifier celebrity status. He is currently an inner city educator toiling but surviving with the beauracratic Board of Ed. Keep on the look-out for the author's first book of Poems, entitled "The Sililoquys of A Spic."

Jonathan Santiago. Coffee fanatic Bronx poet who chews on toothpicks so that he may, "get a feel for nature." How else would he be able to portray wild vines overpowering subway cars?!
He lies inspired by the music not heard in hell's elevators or ballroom mosh pits. He wonders about your fate and figures that you don't really give a damn. Why should you after all, you will never own the air! His words? Yes. His words must recall poets who you read in elementary school and said, "To Hell, with this poetry stuff!" He hopes you will reconsider.
